Went Japan with Nath to do a DJ gig init, Friday to Monday, total jekky fest. Criminaly tireing.

Wicked trip, wicked show, People are mint as k over there! deep

Just finishing a video diary thing from the trip so keep your potatoes peeled ye feel.

THEN, i think got stuck into Dizzee Rascal stuff, have now Live Lounge and Jools Holland, the later of which has a show tonight, so am going to sit and watch it in my pants with a cigar and a prostitue in true Rock and Roll Style. maybe.

Yeah so dat been trippy too. Popped over to cologne to do a show in the middle of this, Great production and shit but sound card had a fucking hernia and jizz'd itself. had to run through a DJ soundcard, but i think we half pulled it off. PULL OFF

Things I have noticed or come to realise these past weeks:

1) Although tasty and comorfting, Schnizel is saltier than the tears of an Tuna.
2) Hangovers can be cured by eating absurdy nice steak
3) Morning Muffin things from McDonalds taste the same everywhere, ie shit.
4) Cologne airport seems to be in the middle of a jungle.
5) Cologne has the biggest Brothel in Europe....but no lovers bridge, no matter what people say!
6) Taxi drivers are completely insane
7) Leaving your wallet in someones bag is a bad thing to do
8) People are getting married, its time to shank.
9) life without internet is bareable
10) Lights, Camera, Action.

what in gods name have I been up to?

Here's the low down, pictures to follow:

I've moved Gaff. Now i have a balcony and en-suite! soooo get that down your pipe!

Been to Berlin with The Young Punx. Been there twice now, this time was FAR better. Better crowd, better people ( :) ) and got to see some cool bits of Berlin. Old railway depots turned into graffitti drenched skate parks and climbing walls. Bars that wobble. Eggs that double. Drinks with bubbles and a girl that cuddles.

All in all a righteous trip.

Also got broken into, that fucking bombed.

Havent had a day off since japan in July, but RAR RAR RAR pumpkin BAR. Cry for me.

Also, been drafted in by the Ritsonantor to work with Dizzee Rascal on a show for the BBC electric Proms, totalllll Shiz fest! into it! Going to be doing some drumming/sampling and production, fucking stoked! big up big up etc.

Hmm, also went to carnival last night. Turned up at 7:30, which, incidentaly is when the soundsystems stop. So got a whole other look @ carnival. ended up finding these few proper carnival goers who lead us through the streets playing samba, pissing off Po-lice and telling stories, fucking hell bent!

I'm home, that was INTENSE

Last day was even more mental. Gig went OFF. Then had a LONG time to sit about watching bands and getting wrecked. Ben folds set was brilliant, he did this whole conducting the audience doing 3 part harmonies, 20,000 people singing was off the hook.

Then sat around with Phonat making a model of Michael Jackon who we then took to the after show party in the stadium!!

Got wrecked, as I should and partied. A Japanese DJ was hunting me out, she was hot init, but theres only so many times I can say "Hai" an make her laugh init.

Went back to hotel then out to the same hawaian bar as last year and drank pitchers with hard fi etc. Count Bass D was chief server. Wanderd the streets of Yokohama then stayed up drinking in my room with Phonat.

8am lobby call was NOT funny, had to do a desk swoop pack, ie just sweep everything into your bag an hope you got it all, i did, mostly.

Deep like 20 hour jounrey home, hung over to fuck, but got home. Got a cider, had chinese and went to bed.

Now its the next day, I feel like its midnight when its 11am. Feel like i want a strongbow. Might go up north for a few days and re settle.

fucking miss Japan already, touring does werid things to you, new friendships, old snippers, dreadnought crew yokohama 09, BIG UP!!!

GIG day, bloody immense mate.

went out this morning and bought the following:

a flat mouse
a usb hub that looks like a rubix cube
a tiny memory stick

Still need to get Stu a USB thing, Rick a tshirt, Jim a handjob, Oli & Abi something Manga, if anyone else wants owt speak now or whatevs

Then went to arena, jet lag acutally caught up with me and i felt shit, so i had a fag a guiness and 3 paracetamol.

Show was ridiculous, dont 'think" made any mistakes sooooo

Crowd was mint as usual, Booga played a stromer and Naths finger was on form

Then managed to eat, watch bands, go to a party and do some signings.....

Tommorow another show, bigger party and maybe a kareoke bar with Hard Fi, who are thoroughly nice.

Dooza, it is HOT.

Main event of the day was a surprise appearance by the big man Phonat!!! bloody greeeeeet. Japanese manager likes the album so much he just got Phonat on the first plane to tokyo an he arrived in time for tea, completely mental, soooo, wicked to have him here for the fes.

Today was rehearsal/soundchek day, always good fun inint. got both me drumkits up an cracking.....

Effect guy added a "conncussion" as he calls it, but actually think he means explosion, which erupts in the middle of ready for the fight, have a vid of the rehearsal with it and it looks like some kind of filthy terrorist attack, tip out!!! But sound is wicked as usual and set looks well fucking yellow!

long day really but managed to get a trip down to the mental "electronics" shop that sneaks in models of girls with jizz all over them, mental!!! got a few keyrings of fried chicken, sooooo

Then a wash.

Then Chinese in China Town, Yokohama, ate deep fried mini crabs, something only described as "shell" even with a translator and now back in the hotel with another Asahi! Crank the fucking crisp!

You lucky mofos, I'm going to "try" and do a daily blog of my behavior in J land. It might be interesting, it could just be rambling nonesense, considering I've been up about 30 hours will probably make this update more of the later.

Just ate a chicken bits on a stick thing after breaking down language barriers thus...

Flight was fine, didn't sleep a dink, usual behavior. Didn't really account for the coke in my whiskey and coke sleep aid. P.S - Nightol herbal are complete shit, regretted not bringing the half valium Most worrying moment was the loss of Nath for an hour, which turned out to be more him escaping Katie's protruding legs by passing out in the toilet, probably something to do with the 5 bottles of wine he had (smalls mind, smalls)

Landed to the usual oppressive humidity, but its kind of nice! Surprising lack of Swinery Fluery checking, so the hiding my hayfever wasn't necessary.

good to see all the old faces and talk about dogs and shit.

check in, showered, bath'd, refreshed now off to a production meeting, always fun. wicked lost in translation moments, file under lots of "ahhhhhhhh"s.

Production meeting was, as expected, humorous. stage looks mint, 2 kits shining in their shiny glory.

The Count arrived, then flipped out to Tokyo for some party or some shizzzzle bizzle.

Then the fun begins...

8 of us bit the bullet and went urban! Japanese cities are mental, they have all these little roads CRAMMED with shops selling electronics etc then loads of signs that seem to lead to what we'd imagine to be council estate corridors and staircases, when in fact they're all about the lift. Pick a floor, any floor, door opens and your in a new Japanese mental restaurant, all with little doorways an shizz and shit loads of people.

We tried a couple until we found one that could house such a weighty crew. House probably isn't the word. they proceeded to show us to a small hole in a staircase in the restaurant and instructed us to crawl through, which we did, some with less ease than others, then we're in our own like under the stairs den, about 1.5 meters high, with tables on the floor,cushions and a rather feral looking computer, deal is we're meant to order our dinner on this comp. Problem being we have no fucking idea A)what the menus on about and B) how to order anything we might like the sound of. BUt we soldiered on, and in fact had a bloody good time drinking ale and eating japanese/western in our own little den of ineligibility!

Much fun was had by all.

Then i bought a massive can of Asahi

Now I'm drinking it

Then I'm off to bed because its now 3.45 UK time and i've been up since 9am yesterday.
